Iain McNab was the founding principal of the Grosvenor School of Modern Art, where artists Cyril Powers and Sybil Andrews also taught. He studied at the Glasgow School of Art and Heatherley’s School of Art, where he later served as principal. His work has been collected by various institutions including the British Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum, and the Ashmolean Museum, among others.

- scattered surface marks and accretion; nicks and cracks to frame molding.
