Original Watercolor
Item Details
An original watercolor on paper painting, that’s completely unsigned, by an unknown artist, and isn’t it just a pity? This is an absolutely alluring watercolor! The spirit of childhood, and the affectionate disposition of a relationship between father and daughter is distilled in warm, hues of winter’s slushy brightness. A father leads his daughter across the ice, probably for the first time. Their forms are highlighted with mostly blue, their upper halves are blushed with warm faintly red auras, an emanation of familial love. Behind them, droves of misanthropic commoners whisk away their cares, pushing across the ice, not fast enough to escape the pitfalls of a mediocre existence. This sentimental piece is presented in a vintage gold toned composite frame, with an aqua blue mat to edge.
Condition
- having taken it from the frame, the painting was either cropped, or intentionally painted in such a way to seem so. It is in wonderful shape nonetheless, if only a little hard to figure.
