B&B Italia "Harry" Lounge Chair Designed by Antonio Citterio
Item Details
A B&B Italia ‘Harry’ lounge chair designed by Antonio Citterio made in Italy. This piece was procured from Voltage Inc. in Cincinnati in 2001. The ‘Harry’ lounge chair features a traditional rectilinear form with some subtle twists as the back legs are slightly shorter than the front legs, the lounge slants slightly backward for a comfortable reclining seat. All legs are aluminum and are detailed with a protective cap. The chair is upholstered with a slightly nubby woven cotton blended fabric. Both the seat and back cushions are removable. Antonio Citterio (1950-) is an acclaimed and award winning Italian furniture and industrial designer who lives and works in Milan. He has created iconic furniture for many international companies, namely Kartell, Vitra and B&B Italia; the Maxalto Collection is exclusive to him alone. His work is on permanent exhibit at both MoMA in New York and the Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris. Works well with sofa, item 14CIN119-001.
