Signed Offset Lithograph Ruthven Print

An original offset lithography print titled ‘Moonlight Watch’ by Ohio wildlife artist John A. Ruthven (b. 1924), depicting a “Miami Indian” in traditional costume sitting at the confluence of the Little Miami River and the Ohio River. One of Cincinnati’s own, John Ruthven is a known naturalist, author, lecturer, and wildlife artist. This print is signed in plate and in pencil. This is an artist’s proof that’s part of a limited edition 416/850 numbered in pencil to the bottom left hand corner and embossed with a seal. This wonderful Ruthven print is presented in a beautiful fruit wood frame with geometric inlay designs and black trim.
