Grouping of three color illustrated antique cards encased in plastic sleeves. First is a Fisk Tire advertising post card with a young boy holding a tire and a candle, with ‘Time to Re-tire (Buy Fisk)’ at bottom of image. The second card shows a caricature of P. T. Barnum riding a grouping animal carriages led by an elephant with a monkey. Exaggerated details and coloring make this a fascinating piece. Says ‘Every Man Rides His Own Hobby.’ at top and ‘The Greatest Show on Earth!!!’ no the carriages. The third is four individual caricatures of African American men performing various activities for an audience.
Condition
Good condition for age. Some wear and discoloration consistent with age. They have been well protected in their plastic sleeves.
