Additional Information Painted at E.V. Haughwout & Co. which sold hand-painted china to wealthy clients. Mary Todd Lincoln had the new White House china painted there. The building is architecturally important and housed the world’s first working passenger elevator.

- some paint fading and loss with scuffs and abrasions to paint; gilding loss; discolored areas to unglazed rings of underside; gilding loss and fading especially to trim.
