Condition
- the chairs are associated; overall with various scratches, marks, nicks/chips, and abrasions consistent with age and use (taller Victorian chair has a larger chip/loss to front right corner of seat); scattered finish wear/losses and fading; Victorian chairs have been re-caned; taller Victorian chair has some losses to burl walnut veneers; Late Classical chair has a loose joint between crest rail and right stile; same chair with cracks and repairs where rear seat rail meets tops of back legs; upholstery is later and with some fading and small stains.
