- examined under UV light; slight curving to board of artwork; small spots of flaked loss scattered to paint, most visibly towards the sides of painting; craquelure, scratches, scuffs, and accretions to paint; peeling and handling wear along the edges of board; tiny splits between the corners of frame bars; cracks, chips, and flaked loss to paint and veneer along the edges of frame; abrasions, scratches, scuffs, discoloration, and accretions to frame.
