An absolutely massive linoleum cut relief print by St. Louis artist Kim Buettner. The artist has depicted the large, cartooned head, of a massive bison. The large, bold image of the bison is backed by an orange triangle, all of this on wonderfully tea-stained paper. The print is signed to the lower right-hand corner and is marked as an Artist’s Proof to the lower left. The artist draws on the gessoed linoleum block and then cuts out the drawing extremely faithfully, doing her utmost to perfectly retell the forms of the brushed lines. This is a bold graphic, a piece that if hung correctly can set the tone of an entire room. Comes to you unframed, awaiting your choice of presentation.
