- one illustration page towards the center of volume has come loose from the binding; toning, foxing, and accretions to text, prints, and paper throughout volume; interior binding appears to have split towards the center of volume; creases, small tears, and other handling to paper along the edges of pages; loose threads, toning, scuffs, color variation, and spots of thinning to the cloth of covers and spine of binding; spots of peeled loss to print and paper of cover illustration, most heavily at the lower left region; toning, foxing, discoloration, scratches, scuffs, and accretions to print and paper of cover illustration; toning, scattered foxing, and accretions to painting and paper of the Susan Forbis Ebright artwork; abrasions, scratches, scuffs, and accretions lightly scattered to frame.
