Julius Jacoby was listed in Kelly’s Post Office Directory 1877 as an ‘Art Furniture Manufacturer, Cabinet Maker, Specialist for Carved Oak Furniture, Retail Cabinet Seller, Church Fitting and Furniture Manufacturer, Interior Decorator, Parquet Flooring Manufacturer and Upholsterer.’ The underside of the teapoy with a retail trade label for Messrs. Wright of Wardour Street, Soho, London.

- overall with scattered indentations and scratches; and retains foil lining to interior boxes.
