Vintage Mexican Carved Pottery Tea Set in Rich Brown
Item Details
A vintage Mexican pottery tea set with teapot, cream pitcher, lidded double handled sugar bowl, and four cups with saucers. This is a rustic set, with chip carved designs to sides and rich brown matte finish. The teapot is lidded, with a great elephant head design to the spout; the style is similar to pieces reported to be from the Guanajuato region of Mexico.
Condition
Good for age; the rustic nature of the matte glaze allows some clay to show through. There are several minor chips to bottom of pieces.
