A group of four United States Obsolete currency notes. Included is an "1862 five dollar Virginia Treasury note", an 1863 one dollar note from "the State of Alabama", a three dollar note from "the Frankfort bank of Kentucky". Last is an unsigned note from "the State Bank of Trenton, New Jersey". The notes range from uncirculated to circulated with heavy wear, tattered edges, folds, and pieces missing.
