A set of 1910 Werner Encyclopedias published by The Werner Company of Akron, Ohio. There are 23 of 25 volumes (missing 8 and 22). There is also a great supplement titled ‘A Guide to Systematic Readings in the Werner Encyclopedia’ by James Baldwin, PH.D. referencing topics in the volumes for ‘The Young People’, ‘The Student’ and ‘The Busy World’. Books are bound in embossed green cloth with beautiful marbled endpapers. Most of the volumes also have marbled paper edges and frontispiece with colored illustrations and tissue guard.
Condition
Overall good condition with the exception of Vol. XXIII, covers detached.
