- examined under UV light; discoloration from unevenly applied varnish to the painting depicting a still life with basket, wine bottle, and vessels; craquelure, scratches, scuffs, accretions, and spots of flaked loss scattered to paint of both paintings, but more heavily to that depicting a still life with fruit; peeled loss to paint and board along the sides of the still life with fruit painting; scratches, scuffs, and accretions to frame.
