Dorothe Lou Niebes was a painter who lived in Cleveland, Ohio during the 20th century. She was a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Art and an affiliate of the Cleveland Museum of Art, where she often exhibited her work in annual shows. Following her death, the Cleveland Institute of Art created the Dorothe L. Niebes ’37 Memorial Painting Award in her honor.
