A vintage Knapp Monarch travel iron. Circa 1920s or ’30s. Made in St. Louis. This steel flat iron has a folding handle with a wooden grip. The electrical cord is detachable.

Still works as if it were rarely used. Small spot of melted plastic or wax residue stuck to the face of the iron.
