- examined under UV light; tear in canvas at the center left region of painting has been patched to the verso; chips and flaked loss to paint, most heavily at the lower center region; craquelure, scratches, scuffs, discoloration, and accretions scattered to paint; slight indentations to canvas where painting presses against the interior borders of the stretchers; abrasions, scratches, scuffs, discoloration, and accretions to frame.
