Additional Information Large shallow form painted with a detailed, sinuous five-clawed dragon on a ground of crashing waves. Encircled by an additional three dragons to the tall walls. The exterior is decorated in a pattern of ruyi clouds. Surface wear and loss consistent with age. Provenance: I.M. Chait Gallery March 2016 Important Chinese Ceramics & Works, lot 154. Previously with the Wolch Collection, Los Angeles.

- minor markings, scuffs, and scratches to glaze; slight discoloration.
