- overall with various scratches, marks, nicks/chips, cracks/splits, and abrasions consistent with age and use; refinished and with scattered wear, fading, and stains; some former worming and associated marks/losses; variable veneer distress, losses, and repairs (walnut veneers were most likely stripped from side panels of case); one pigeonhole valence is detached but included; brasses of bottom long drawer have been replaced; other repairs/restorations.
