A vintage Ludwig Mies van der Rohe ‘Barcelona’ table. The Barcelona Table (1930) was originally created for the Mies-designed Villa Tugendhat in Brno, Czech Republic. Designed by Mid Century Modern designers Mies van der Rohe (Germany 1886 – Chicago, 1969), who had no formal education, and who is considered on of the founding fathers of Mid Century Modern design and architecture.
Condition
Wear is consistent with age and use. Table is in very good condition for age.
