’Kim Santen is a Cincinnati based artist and has always had an artistic flair. Her initial artistic expression was through photography, even though her mother says she used to paint on the walls and sign it when she was three. Within the past few years, Kim’s artistic expression evolved into utilizing inks and acrylic paint. She has been recognized by ADC Fine Art Gallery, where her artwork was featured recently. She states, “When I start my art, I put a bunch of lines down and prep my canvas or paper, then the paper comes alive to me. All of the characters seem to be on the canvas waiting to be born through my artistic interpretations. I’m not sure if I am creating them or if they are creating me.”

Kim has won several photography awards and accolades. Her photographic artwork has been National featured on Kate Spade’s website, several Bridal magazines, and has been sold to raise funds for non-profit foundations. Kim continues to work in both mediums through painting and photography in private collections throughout the US.’
