Contemporary landscape painter Jane Bloodgood-Abrams is a descendant of the Luminist style. She is a native of the Hudson Valley and paints landscapes from high vantage points with a color exploration of light and atmosphere. Upon completing her Master of Fine Arts from the State University of New York, Bloodgood-Abrams’ work has been exhibited in multiple solo shows in New York City, as well as international group shows including the Florence Biennale. She is a member of the Pastel Society of America and the National Association of Women Artists. Her work presides in private, public, and corporate collections including the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art, New Paltz; College of Saint Rose, Albany; and the Barclays Capital Inc. Collection.
