Vintage Jewelry Box Collection

A vintage jewelry box collection consists of four boxes. The first is a square box with a mirrored picture of a show girl, possibly form the 1920 era. The mirror has black base with gold horizontal lines. There is a circle in the center with a show girl silhouette. The box is wood with a partitioned interior. The partition is removable. The second box is a hexagon shape cuff box with a gold front clasp. The box is a cardboard material with a faux leather style covering. The interior has a green lacquer finish. The third box is is oak and has the word ’Jewels in script metal on the top of the lid. The top and bottom corners have metal embellishments and the lock is brass. The fourth and final box is also wood in a half circle design. The front bowed panel has decoupage roses in the center and the bowed front fits into slated back legs. The front of the box has a single foot for support.

Condition

All of the boxes in this collection are in fair to good condition. Two of the boxes are very old.The show girl box has loss of paint to the wood finish and loss of silver to the mirror. This one and the hexagon shape box have multiple stains/tears to the interior fabric. The “Jewels” oak box is in very good condition on the exterior but the interior fabric is stained and the box needs to be cleaned. The key is not available. The decoupage box is in the best condition with no visible flaws. Please see photos.
