- formerly a rope bed which has been adapted to accommodate later side rails (some later cutouts and screw holes); overall with various scratches, marks, nicks/chips, cracks/splits, and abrasions consistent with age and use; refinished and with scattered wear and stains; headboard and foot board posts probably had finials at one time; missing bolts/screws to secure side rails to headboard/foot board, thus loose.
