Additional Information Miguel Berrocal (Spanish 1933-2006) is renowned for his sculptural works that are often arranged as puzzles, inviting the viewer to participate in the construction. Intrigued from an early age by analytic geometry, science and drawing, Berrocal’s work incorporated his philosophy of experiencing art by “observing with the hands” in both miniscule and monumental examples. His work has been exhibited worldwide and he was artistically active until his sudden death in 2006. The Berrocal Sculpture Foundation continues to preserve and promote the artist’s legacy at their headquarters in Spain. Numbered 331/2000. Comes with assembly instruction book. Additional barrel shaped piece can be used to replace pyramid finial atop casket lid.
