Influenced by German Expressionism and graffiti elements, Keil is known for his simplified abstractions of traditional art subjects. He studied under Otto Nagel at a young age and developed relationships with other renowned artists such as Joan Miró. As Keil abandoned realism and developed his signature style, he used more vibrant colors rapidly applied with large gestural brushstrokes resembling the abstract style of Picasso.

- wear to edges of paper; puncture to the lower portion of the paper, measures approximately 0.5" W x 0.5" H; surface wear present to painting; toning to paper; billow to paper; staining and accretions to paper; slight creasing to corners of paper.
