Richard Snyder is particularly known for his large-scale abstract paintings exhibiting vibrant colors, often applied in an irregular manner with large gestural brushstrokes. The artist received his BFA at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and has exhibited at a number of galleries, particularly throughout New York and Pennsylvania. Institutions and galleries that have featured his work include the National Academy of Design, Michael Fletcher Gallery, Leonarda Di Mauro Gallery, 55 Mercer Street Gallery, Artzon Gallery, and 10 Worlds Gallery, among others.
