- examined under UV light; artwork is slightly loose within frame and tends to shift, with scratches and scuffs to paint and board along the upper and lower edges from contact wear with frame; craquelure, accretions, small scratches, and scuffs scattered to paint; cracks, chips, and spots of flaked loss to the gold-toned gesso accents and veneer of frame; abrasions, scratches, scuffs, discoloration, and accretions to frame.
