During his career, Charles taught printmaking to students from kindergarten through graduate levels. At the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, he traveled to Italy in the summer to teach students and gain inspiration for his artwork. His works have been displayed at the National Academy of Design, Carnegie Museum, Pennsylvania State Museum, and various institutions.
Condition
- tiny holes in paper at the upper left corner of sheet, likely from previous use of thumbtacks or pins; lightly scattered flecks of accretions to print and paper; foxing and discoloration to paper at the right margin of sheet.
