During his career, Charles taught printmaking to students from kindergarten through graduate levels. At the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, he traveled to Italy in the summer to teach students and gain inspiration for his artwork. His works have been displayed at the National Academy of Design, Carnegie Museum, Pennsylvania State Museum, and various institutions.

Condition

- tiny holes in paper at the upper left and upper right corners of sheet, likely from previous use of thumbtacks or pins; scratches, scuffs, and flecks of accretions lightly scattered to print and paper; creases to paper along the edges of sheet.
