Federal Style Walnut Buffet

A Federal style walnut buffet. The buffet has a molded back rail, a slightly curved front and two drawers to the center, flanked by cabinets. The drawers have machine cut dovetail construction and brass tone loop pulls with round back plates. The top drawer has fluted styling and both drawers have book matched burl veneer. The drawers are flanked by two cabinets with molded frames around edge and feature book matched burl veneer. The cabinets have matching loop pulls. There is a lovely applied carved acanthus design to apron. The front tapered legs are fluted and end in arrow feet.

Condition

- to fair. The top has heavy wear to finish. There are breaks to applied acanthus design on apron. There are a few nicks to veneer. There is heavy wear to veneer to sides.
