Vintage Hand-Painted I E & C Creamer with Lilacs
Item Details
A very early hand-painted I. E. & C. Co creamer that dates between 1885 and 1905; its backstamp does not have ‘hand painted’ around the wreath image, it is pre 1901. This vibrant and highly decorated creamer is done with a deep cobalt and a high amount of gilding. The lines and decoration of the lidded creamer suggest an Art Nouveau piece. This dainty creamer has variegated pink flower with leaves of gold and green tones.
