Vintage Capodimonte Style Lamp

Item Details

A vintage Italian capodimonte style table lamp. This lovey lamp is salmon pink with double handle curlicues -one curls up and one down. It has transfer patterns of light pink roses and pale greenery. It also has modified ‘s’ cuts at the top, throat and below the bowl shape on the stem. The porcelain part of the base is three squares stacked with the second square flowing in a curve to the the third square. There is gold leaf trim and raised detailing. It has a pierced brass square base with a flower and leaf pattern. The harp is also brass. The shade is pleated silk with a scalloped bottom. The lamp is marked with the original foil seal ‘Made in Italy.’
