Rebecca Sharfman (aka Rebecca/Becki Ison) was born in Evreux, France in 1964 and grew up in Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky. She studied at the Art Academy of Cincinnati and Xavier University. Sharfman is known for her avant-garde style photography and Expressionist style oil paintings influenced by Sally Mann, Diane Arbus, Annie Lebowitz, and the Expressionist movement. Her work is privately collected.
