Antique Continental Baroque Style Desk

Item Details

An amazing late 19th or early 20th century Continental Baroque style desk with overhanging molded top and featuring burl walnut banding to the the front and sides, with matched burl to center. Below top, a pull-out green felted writing surface with locking front (key is present). A full-length drawer resides below and boasts three ornately decorated brass mounted bail handles. A sloping apron is decorated with acanthus leaves at front corner. Top rests on four square molded legs with urn-shaped turning. Square molded lower legs rest on wooden bun feet.

Condition
