Magnificent Staunton Renegade Series Chess Set

A House of Staunton Renegade Series chess set, storage chest and standard chess board. This beautiful chess set features a 3.875’ king with a 1.625’ diameter base made of rosewood and natural boxwood. The heavily weighted pieces are hand carved with green billiard cloth base pads. The standard traditional chess board is beautiful walnut and maple squares with walnut frame. This veneered chess board is 0.5’ thick with a satin finish. The storage chest is a large red burl fitted coffer. This coffer provides each of the chess pieces their own individual storage compartment. It features brass quadrant hinges, a removable top tray and a lock and key with tassel. The House of Staunton Logo has been laser engraved in the lid.

Measurement of wood storage chest. The queen is 3". The board is 22.5 “square and 1” high.
