Tim Mather is known for his abstract ceramic sculptures and Japanese-inspired vessels. He uses found objects in his work such as plastic packaging, plumbing fixtures, and toys. Mather worked in Athens, Ohio as a studio potter before becoming an associate professor at Indiana University Bloomington’s School of Art, Architecture, and Design. His work has been in multiple publications and has been featured in numerous private and public collections.
