Fitzgerald’s collection of Vietnam ephemera includes an original USS Maddox war map from 1964, a USS Ticonderoga jacket patch, a 1964 USS Kearsarge newsletter in which it’s revealed actor John Wayne is going to be aboard for a 5-day cruise, various newsletters that include the USS Ticonderoga CVA 14, United States Seventh Fleet, and the Kearsarge, and a large group of black-and-white photographs (some are stamped on the back) featuring fighter jets, ships and military personnel. |
