Max Papart was known for his Cubist-style landscapes, portraits, and circus-themed scenes. Papart received his formal art training in Paris, learning classic engraving techniques. The artist strove to achieve symphonic compositions that acted as windows to both entertainment and engaging thought. Today, Papart’s work can be found in numerous private and public collections, including the Musee d’Art Moderne (Paris), Victoria and Albert Museum (London), and more.
