A Rolex Bubbleback 14K and stainless steel wristwatch. This is a vintage watch with a history that features the creation of a timepiece that could hold a self-winding movement with a heavier oscillation weight. Instead of making a larger watch by increasing the diameter, the size of the protrusion in the back was increased and the bubbleback was created. This watch is circa 1950 and features a 14K yellow gold index bezel that frames a white dial with gold-tone indexes, Dauphine hands and a sixty-second subdial. Other features of this classic watch include a stainless steel case with a self-winding movement. The timepiece is set on a steelinox stainless steel, expansion style Oyster bracelet with a fold-over clasp.
