Returning to art after pursuing careers in both the medical and horticultural industry, Dottie Abramowksi is known for her vivid landscapes and luminous abstracts. Her technique incorporates pallet knife work in both oil painting and cold wax mediums. Studying with several established artists on the East coast, Abramowski left New York with her husband in 1979 and moved to North Carolina where she lives and works today. Her work can be found in local North Carolina galleries and private collections.
