- small losses of paint to the upper, left, and lower edges of the composition; light craquelure throughout the composition; minor cockling to the lower left and lower center of the composition; light scratching to the lower right of the composition; two repaired punctures to the lower right of the composition; overpainting to the upper left, lower right, and elsewhere throughout the painting; canvas has been re-lined; minor abrasions to the frame throughout; stains to the surface of painting, notably to the lower left edge.
