Set of four British gold sovereigns. This lot contains a 1898 Sovereign featuring a left facing Veiled Head Queen Victoria designed by Thomas Brock on the obverse, a 1906 Sovereign featuring a right facing King Edward VII designed by George William De Saulles on the obverse, a 1925 Sovereign (re-strike) featuring a left facing King George V designed by Bertram MacKennal on the obverse, and a 1976 Sovereign featuring a right facing Queen Elizabeth II designed by Arnold Machin on the obverse. All coins feature Benedetto Pistrucci’s St. George and the Dragon on the reverse. Mintage: 4,361,347 (1898), 10,466,981 (1906), 886,000 (1925), 4,150,000 (1976). Metal Content: 91% Gold Diameter: 22.05 mm (each). Weight: approx. 7.98 grams (each). Encased in a Capital Plastic Holder.
