British Proof Sets and ’Britain’s First Decimal Coins’ Set. This lot contains three Great Britain and Northern Ireland proof sets from 1970, 1971, and 1977. The 1970 set contains a British large penny, half penny, three pence, 2 one shilling, six pence, a two shilling and a half crown. The 1971 set contains a penny, half penny, 2 pence, 5 pence, 10 pence and 50 pence. The 1977 set contains a penny, half penny, 2 pence, 5 pence, 10 pence, 50 pence and 1 crown. The Britain’s First Decimal Coins set contains a penny, half penny, 2 pence, 5 pence and 10 pence. All coins are copper nickel. All coins are presented in their original Royal Mint packaging.
