Metal content: 90% silver, 10% copper. Diameter: 15.9 mm. Weight: approximately 1.24 grams(each). Also a 1852 three-cent piece. Designer: James B. Longacre. Mintage: 18,663,500 Metal Content: 75% silver, 25% copper. Diameter: 14 mm. Weight: approx. .8 grams. The coins appear lightly circulated.
