- painting examined under UV light; patches of overpainting to the vase and to the background to the lower half of the painting; minor areas of inpainting to the lower half of the flowers; minor overpainting to the upper background; slight buckling to canvas with scattered tenting and cracks to the paint; scratch to the painting to the lower-left corner; patch to canvas to the lower edge to the verso; minor grime to the surface and yellowing to the varnish overpainting; nicks and scratches to the frame.
