- painting examined under UV light; areas of overpainting including to the right hillside to the left edge, to the gray clouds, and to the lower right corner; minor spots of inpainting along the right edge and to the white clouds to the upper left; cracks to the paint notably to the clouds across the center; slight discoloration to the varnish to the center; canvas relined; scratches and gilt loss to the frame.
