- artwork has been examined under UV light and shows no apparent signs of repairs; scratches, scuffs, minor discoloration, and accretions to paint and varnish surfaces; tiny gaps at the corners between the bars of frame; chip, cracks, and minor loss to the gold-toned gesso accents and veneer of frame scattered throughout, but most heavily towards the lower left and lower right regions; abrasions, scratches, scuffs, discoloration, and loose debris to frame.
