- traffic wear with pulled and flattened yarn in pile; structure buckled from rolled and folded storage; soiling and areas of discoloration across field; loose surface debris; variations in width and depth; snagged yarn and gaps in selvedge binding; fringe sewn on to either end as repair, with original ends machine-bound with hem tape beneath to prevent loss; separation of fringe and end binding with fraying weave near one corner.
